World Class Westmont
Grainger Terry provided strategic support to public affairs firm Sphere PR Group to promote the approval of the World Class Westmont development. This large mixed-use development provides an economic engine to the community of Westmont, as well as amenities to residents and visitors alike. But when the project was proposed, these benefits were not obvious and needed to be explained clearly to address concerns and remove road blocks that could derail this beneficial project. Grainger Terry worked on messaging, website development and direct mail. We worked to manage community input on the project, and developed strategies to address residents' concerns.
Catholics for the Cardinal
A group of concerned citizens were interested in showing their support for the Cardinal and reached out to Grainger Terry to help organize and coordinate supporters, as well as ensure the event was covered by the media. Multiple news outlets covered the event and over 15 news trucks were lined up to cover the event.

After years of serving in the public defenders office, these seasoned attorneys were well positioned to take on the rigors of a new business. Start-up law firm Bedi & Singer reached out to Grainger Terry to assist with business strategy, from budgets and timelines, to identifying potential clients, Grainger Terry was there for them every step of the way.

Grainger Terry was responsible for the branding and marketing of Atlanta Green Cleaning's commercial cleaning services. From the creation of its logo to the crafting its narrative as a family-owned business that uses environmentally-sound cleaning products that are a safe and healthy alternative to conventional cleaning products, Grainger Terry helped Atlanta Green Cleaning grow its client base and increase its footprint in Atlanta's commercial cleaning market.
T-Mobile - Cell Phones for Seniors
T-Mobile and Sheriff Tom Dart announced the launch of their partnership in the “Cell Phones for Seniors” program. As a partner in the Sheriff’s on-going program, T-Mobile will set up donation sites in Chicago, where used cell phones will be collected and recycled to provide a “lifeline” to senior citizens. The partnership was launched at Alderman Ray Suarez’s annual Senior Health Fair where over 500 hundred senior citizens gathered, many of whom received the first cell phone they have ever owned.
Steve "Mongo" McMichael Tackles iHobby Expo
Known to sports enthusiasts as the starting defensive lineman on the 1985 Bears’ Super Bowl Championship Team, McMichael has been a long-time participant in the hobby industry and has become a role model for hobbyists who like to build their own models of cars, trains, planes, and boats. When Steve McMichael isn’t currently coaching the Chicago Slaughters, this six-foot-two, 270-pound former professional wrestler and NFL hero can be seen driving his over-sized RC car throughout his house and yard. Steve “Mongo” McMichael will be available for onsite interviews.
Celebrity appearances helped Meade Electric celebrate their 100th anniversary in style. Dan Hampton and Richard Dent signed autographs and mingled with guests. Thousands of people attended, and it was held at Soldier Field.
Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank wanted to stand out at a banking conference. They contracted with Grainger Terry to find a well-recognized celebrity athlete from the Chicago area. Grainger Terry arranged for "The Coach" Mike Ditka to appear at their booth, sign footballs and distribute to attendees. Grainger Terry produced the collateral, materials and giveaways in compliance with Fifth Third's brand standards, coordinated all logistics, production and financial arrangements, protecting both parties from risk of default.

Stop Scary Government Spending
Zombies have been spotted in multiple locations across downtown Chicago, along Washington and Dearborn Streets from Daley Plaza to Michigan Avenue. Not your typical brain-hungry flesh-eating zombies, these zombies are looking to gobble up your tax dollars. The zombies are followed by representatives of Scott Lee Cohen, Independent candidate for Governor, passing out information about “scary” government spending.

Grainger Terry has handled the strategy and execution of multiple successful campaigns for U.S. Congressman Bobby Rush, a long-time politician and pastor of the Beloved Community Christian Church of God in Christ in Chicago. Congressman Rush has turned to Grainger Terry for every part of running his campaigns, including consulting, fundraising, direct mail and operations.

Grainger Terry put Judge Diane Shelley on the bench for Cook County's 5th Subcircuit. Under the strategic direction of Grainger Terry, Judge Shelley received endorsements from several of Chicago's most prominent organizations and leaders, including the Chicago Tribune, U.S. Congressman Bobby Rush and U.S. Congressman Danny Davis.
Michael Hyman was the first Jewish judge elected in Cook County in over 30 years. Nine days before the February 5, 2008 Primary Election, the Chicago Sun-Times published a front-page article accusing our client, Judge Michael B. Hyman of “hiring a Warlord” to oversee his campaign efforts. Judge Hyman hired Wallace “Gator” Bradley, a reformed gang leader to help in his community relations efforts and in the rehabilitation of former gang members. Grainger Terry acted quickly to highlight Judge Hyman’s good judgment, show community support for his decision to hire Mr. Bradley, garner support for Judge Hyman from African-American leaders and emphasize Judge Hyman’s belief in redemption.
